Many consumers want something back from their credit card each time they use them. While there are numerous reward cards on the market, many people - especially businessmen - use their credit cards to earn air miles to travel the globe.

The ANZ Qantas Frequent Flyer Visa Card is a joint operation between Australia's national airline and one of the nation's largest banks. Consumers signing up for this credit card can earn unlimited bonus points at over 2,000 ANZ Bonus partnerships across the country, with consumers able to trade in the points for flights to either domestic destinations or overseas.

This credit card offers the opportunity to earn two points for every $1 spent when using the credit cards during everyday life, for an annual fee of $95. A rate of 20.74 per cent is charged on all purchases, after an interest-free period of 44 days.

For those wishing to get that little bit further away from home, the ANZ Qantas Frequent Flyer Gold Card offers consumers more bonus points that its sister card, while - for an annual charge of $150 - a 55-day interest-free period is included. The same interest rate on purchases is charged.

Meanwhile, American Express's Blue Sky Card offers consumers one flight point for every $1 spent on the credit card, with users able to redeem points on flights to domestic or south-east Asian destinations.

An annual fee of $95 entitles users to an interest rate of 18.99 per cent and up to 55 days interest free on all purchases.
